Construction of a 126,279 sq. ft Manufacturing Park, consisting of 27,976 sq. ft Offices and 98,303 sq. ft High Bay Area with 300 Car Parking spaces.
The Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing (CESAM), part of the International Manufacturing Park (IAMP) will provide research, development, innovation and training facilities for businesses across the North East.
IAMP is a joint venture between Sunderland City Council and South Tyneside Council, with Henry Boot Developments delivery partner. Over the next ten to 15 years it is expected to create 7,000 jobs.
Located next to the Nissan plant, IAMP will eventually provide 4.2 million sq. ft of space for advanced manufacturers from a range of industries, as well as the automotive supply chain.
