GMI completed the refurbishment of 33 Wellington Street, formerly known as Benson House.
Located on a gateway corner to the city, the building exterior received new curtain walling with large floor to ceiling windows, three new feature entrances, a rear extension and new feature external lighting.
Landscaping around the site saw a podium car park transformed into a landscaped deck and a new scheme to compliment the updated entrance.

This highly complex city centre structure is located within Manchester's Piccadilly Basin
The project continues the trend for contemporary city centre living and is aimed at reinforcing the Piccadilly Basin’s links with the vibrant Northern Quarter adjacent
Requiring close consultation with English Heritage and the Canal and Rivers Trust, the project abuts the Grade II* listed Jackson’s Warehouse and completes the enclosure of the Piccadilly Marina

At the heart of the hotel there is also a signature Bar & Grill, a 104-cover brasserie as well as a chic cocktail lounge featuring a trademark Champagne Room.
