GMI’s objective is to ensure we select and manage our supply chain in such a way that adds value and drives down costs. Recent initiatives have seen our business move towards “partnering” style arrangements with our key sub-contractors and suppliers. We have targeted and developed very strong relationships with key trades as follows: M&E engineers, structural steelwork and in-situ concrete, various external cladding solutions, glazing, geotechnical engineers, acoustic, finishes and piling specialists.
As expectations rise and construction times shorten, we have developed procedures to help reduce lead-in times.
We want long-term relationships with our sub-contractors and suppliers and want to work with companies who share our objectives and business philosophies.
